Christmas in the warm

Ahh, what a week its been.

It’s gone so quickly, we’ve been to Malta, spent a wicked week in 18c+ weather over the Christmas period and now we’re back home – in the freezing cold!

Malta is brilliant – beautiful countryside, manic drivers, laid back locals and lots of warm weather and blue sea!

Would love to go back again, but we would hire a car so we could get to see more of it in our own time rather than around the bus timetables.

Saw my nan and gramp-in-law for the first time in about 8 years which was great.

Did some thinking whilst away too, about what to do to bring in an extra income, lots to think about over the rest of the holidays and also about where we want to be at the end of 2010.

We’ve both been thinking about whether we want to stay in the UK or go abroad.  We’ve thought about Canada as my Aunt is out there so it would make it a little easier to go out there.

But we’re both so happy in our current job that it’s a big decision to make.

We’ve spent so long looking for a job we like that it’s hard to think about giving it up.  But then we’re both always talking about leaving the UK as we’re not happy with what the country offers us in terms of getting a house or land etc.

Anyway, got a few days to think seriously about things and make plans before we go back to work on Monday.

Looks like 2010 will be an exciting year!

Oh and before I go, check out our pictures – I’ve just uploaded the Malta pics.  Click on the blue tag on the right of the blog that says ‘Check out our photos’ and then when on photobucket click on the link that says Malta 2009 on the left hand side.

Or click here to be taken straight to them – enjoy!
