More French Marigold planting

Today we took the remaining French Marigolds over to Spring Grove Market Garden to plant out, as we had run out of space yesterday.  We used a really long bed of theirs to plant out about 700 or so I think, it was much quicker planting them out in this bed as it didn’t have any myopex on and we could just plant straight into the soil rather than through holes into the soil on our myopex!

We also cut aload of square wood ready for some sign making later on in the season, as Anna came up with a great idea of putting the name of each herb and some uses for it at the end of each bed, so that if we have any visitors they can read what it is they are looking at!

Another WWOOF’er arrived today, her name was Sarah, but she is only staying a few days as she is going to a steel drum competition, but she wants to come back next year for the season I think, so this is more of a taster I think, but still, she came all the way from Leeds to get here, heh!
