Transplanting out the French Marigolds

Today was my Birthday, but I didn’t tell anyone here as I didn’t want a fuss, plus I feel more like celebrating things at the end of the year rather than half way through it.

It is interesting though to look back over the last 12 months and see where we have been and what we have done … from getting established at our 9-5 office job, to building a successful online business that we ultimately didn’t want to do, to then moving here … it’s definately been an interesting 12 months.

We transplanted out all the 3000 odd French Marigolds today, which was a great thing to do on my Birthday!  We planted out 4 beds in total, and a double bed was included in this as it was easier planting them right next to each other, we then had to fence each bed so to make sure no rabbits would come and eat our lovely little Marigolds!
